Manager Carlo Ancelotti did not want to take risks to immediately play Frank Lampard during Chelsea's meeting with Fulham mid this week, 11 November 2010. England midfielder is currently still in recovery phase post-injury.
However, Ancelotti will probably lose Lampard this weekend when the Blues met with Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
"Frank Lampard is not fit for the game Wednesday, but I hope he will be returned to the show when we deal with Sunderland," Ancelotti said as quoted by Goal.
